There is a local Australian legend that says that the Argyle mine was created when three women were fishing a barramundi fish, but the fish was smart and jumped through the net, landing on the area where today the mine is. The believe says that the colors of the mine come from the different parts of the fish and pink diamonds come from the heart of the barramundi.
The color of pink diamonds varies from the Very Light Pink up to Vivid Pink which is the highest intensity grade and that is the main factor that influences the price range. nces the price range.
